No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament

Wednesday, May 25th - 7:00pm
(doors open at 6:30)

$10 Buy-in - 24 player max
(with unlimited $10 rebuys in the first four levels if you fall below 250 chips, no add-on)

One spot in the KWSOP on June 24-26, will be awared for every $160 dollars in the pool. Remaining cash to be paid out to the next place finisher. If you've already paid or won a seat into the KWSOP, you will be awarded $160 in cash.

Each player will receive 1000 chips for their $10 buyin. You are eliminated from the tourney when you lose all your chips. The tourney will not stop, except for short breaks, until the number of players left equals the number of seats being awarded.

During the first four levels of the tourney you may 'rebuy' into the tourney (pay another $10 and receive another 1000 chips) if you fall to 250 chips or less. You must rebuy as soon as you bust out and rejoin the tournament. Rebuys are only allowed up til the end of the first break. You may do this an unlimited number of times.

Late players: If you know you're going to be late, please phone and a seat and chips will be set out for you and you will post blinds and fold until you arrive. Players that are late that haven't let me know will give up their seat to the next player on the waiting list. If there's no one left on the waiting list, late players may buy into the tournament during the first level (20 minutes), but must immediately post the big and small blind if the blinds have passed them.

The tournament will last approximately 5 hours. Seating is limited to 24 players. (8 max tables) Please reserve your seat in advance!!

Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted at my place, or you may msg me for specifics.

The girlfriend and I are interested in playing but unfortunately we have a wedding on the weekend of the KWSOP. By some fluke that we win could we take the money and run? Let me know if that is okay with you guys and if it is I will confirm with her if we can make it. I know the satellites are to promote seats and understand if we can't participate.

Our official stance is that if you win a seat, you have the seat. The seat can be sold (or given away), so there's good chances that you'd get most of the $160, but it's up to you to sell the seat. Let me know if you'd still like me to add you two to the list.

I totally understand. I think it's best we let the people that can make the KWSOP fight it out at the satellite event. Plus we have a busy poker weekend Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday might be overkill. Best of luck all!!

I won't have much of a report to give on the tournament, but this was definately one action packed and tense event. A big congrats goes out to Steve "Shtebs" S. and "Folded" Cory on winning their entries into the KWSOP!!!

Congrats also goes out to two time Bristol Street Champion "Big Daddy" Paul W, for hitting the third place money of $110 and our condolences to the other two time Bristol St. Champion, "Slippery" Pete A. for becoming this tournament's Bubble Boy.

I thought Mario was playing last night...but, all I saw was some bald dude saying "tight is right"...which could NOT have
been the true Itsame.

Must be getting close to the KWSOP as at times you could have heard a pin drop.
