  • I am a newbie too! Well to this forum!

I've learned to play hold'em about 1 year ago and have been playing online for the past 4 months. Just turn 19, so I will be heading to a Casino soon! I can;t wait!
  • I have been playing for a few months now in the London area. A couple of trips to Brantford have kicked my wallet hard. It is easy to get off being tight enough when getting beat by every possible straight or flush draw or weak two pair when you have top pair with a good kicker and all they ever do is call. Doing alright at home games of dealer's choice or small ($20) NL tourny tables. Pokerstars is coming along.
Hope to keep learning and find some more games in the London area. It looks like the K/W area may be better.
Damn they need a casino in London but I need to get better first.

They do have holdem poker in London, but only for two weeks every September. The Western fair runs 4 tables during the actual fair. Usually three 5-10 tables and one 10-20 table.

Other than that though you've got to go to Brantford or Sarnia during the rest of the year.
