Playing Against A Coin

so one of our friday night players left early, and i convinced him to buy-in before he left and to leave us a loonie. i'd play for him using the coin. everytime the action came around to him, heads he'd call, tails he'd fold. at a pre-arranged chip count (only known to me) he'd go all in. if everyone before him checked, he'd check. no one saw the cards unless he played thru the hand. if he folded, his cards could be shown at the end. the flip could not be done out of turn.

it was pretty interesting to see how this affected people's play.

and, sadly, me and another player had to rebuy before the coin busted out....lol.

  • Okay, now that's just plain scary!!!

You mean to tell me that the mountain of books I've read, the time spent online playing and losing, the home games I have played in, the televised poker shows I have watched, the suspicious looks from the wife, the constant chatter from a 9 year old girl sitting beside me during all of the above.......IS ALL FOR NAUGHT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

WHEN ALL I EVER NEEDED WAS FLIP A COIN?!?!?!?!!?!?

Somebody book me a room in the padded wall hotel!!!! :D
