Excellent! That should guarantee we are a go, barring cancellation.
  • Address will be coming out to everyone later in the week.
  • Hi,
I might be able to participate, let me know if seat available.
I can use Blondfish & Toronto Pimp as reference :)
  • I'll vouch for The_Game (Yama) as well..Trouble is he's a good player, too many of them at this satellite as it is, present company excepted...

You really think you need someone to vouch for you at my game after all the times we’ve played together?

    You good.
  • Assuming Comp firms up his (T) we’re only one away from a full table.

    Let’s go people!

  • Final Results
    10. Comp (Yes, really!)
    9. DJ
    8. BlondeFish
    7. Gwen
    6. Pimp
    5. Niks1
    4. Card Dead
    3. Mathers $600
    2. Gogie $700
    1. EdtheTed $800

We had 10 players total and the group agreed to allow 1 rebuy per player for 3 levels, so we had 14 total buyins with a prize pool of $2100, which equated to payouts of $1100 and $1000.

There was lots of action early and often as there were 5 bustouts before the end of level 3 and 4 rebuys.

It was a pretty even heat at 4-handed until Ted’s Q5 bested Card Dead’S QT on a 44Q5Q board, which was ultimately the hand of yhe night., and left Card Dead crippled with 6 BB and was out the very next hand.

At that point the 3 remaining stacks were relatively even so the players agreed to a 3-way chop based on chip stacks.

Overall, it was a fun night, as always. Great Game Everyone and thanks for coming out.
  • Glen,
Thanks for hosting a great event. I had to struggle with Pimp on my left and Card Dead third to my left for most of the night - they both liked to take advantage of my conservative play and consistently re-raise my tentative raises. And of course EdtheTed delighted in sucking me along for most of my chips early on, forcing me to be one of the 4 re-buys. Once Pimp and Card Dead fell by the wayside I was able to lockbox my way into the money.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening and a great bunch of people to play poker with.
  • Thanks so much for hosting. It was a great tournament with solid players and we had some laughs! Awesome prep for WPT in a week. Hope to play with all you folks again.
