im farely new to poker and would like to know if there are any poker games on the wknds with a $20 buyin?

You may find a few around Toronto with a $20 buy-in. Some guys will run a single table tourney in their homes. You can also find slightly larger, private clubs offering week-end tourneys but usually slightly higher buy-ins. Also be aware these guys take a rake from the prize pool.
For those kind of stakes, it would be a lot easier online. Not as much of a social event, however.
