Live: First-Ever WPT Philippines
Forumer DirtArse and I will play in the inaugural AND juicy WPT Philippines Main Event. The buy-in is U$2200 each (~C$4950 total) and markup is as low as 9%:

TLDR Details:
A record number of players usually occurs in the first-ever (and softest) WPT event in a city, including WPT Montreal 2012, WPT Niagara Falls 2006, and this will probably be the same case in Manila. There seems to be a lot of satellites in both B&M & online casinos in the Philippines for the many gamboolers that want to see the Royal Flush Girls, Mike Sexton, Lacey Jones, etc. A bunch of celebrities have already confirmed that they will be playing, including actors, sports figures, and a former world boxing champion.
One news source estimates a total prize pool of $3 million, with 600-800 players at the Main Event alone. For example, if I win the bracelet & ~U$300,000, & DirtArse wins ~U$200,000, then 1% will win you ~U$5,000!
We will keep investors abreast of our WPT Philippines adventure via Facebook and email: chip updates (if wifi available); photos of the Royal Flush Girls, models and other beautiful scenery in the Philippines; flipaments, cash games and player parties. At least one trip report will be emailed after, just like DirtArse's 4-digit profit trip report this month.
If any of the investors wants a WPT Philippines hat/T-shirt, casino poker chip or other request from Philippines/Hong Kong, let me know (IF available). DirtArse is a confident winning player (both online and live like me) and wants to sell only 20% of our action, so first-come first-served for the 20%.
I won't ask for payment until our flight is confirmed on Thursday, October 16 with the following methods: Paypal, EMT, partypoker, or in-person at Bill's this Friday. Deadline is before October 23, when we will start play. The final table will be live streamed.

Mostly a cash game player, and I've cut back a lot on playing since Black Friday but here is my sharkscope profile. In the Sunday Million where I finished 31st I was crippled all in with the Nut Flush on the flop to some guy who had jammed all in with AA. He went runner runner to make a boat on the river as a 1.6% dog. He finished 2nd for $118,000.... I win that pot as a 98.4% favorite and I'm positive I go as deep or deeper than him since I had a bigger stack and was a better player.
Pls note the Sharkscope Graph is not completely accurate... It didn't pick up every tourney... it's at least $2-3K short of my actual profit.
A lot of satellites didn't register. I was winning at an average of 25% of all the satellites I was entering... Buddy can vouch for this since we won a lot of them together. Also the 94 Ability is quite High... better than Buddy I believe since I was playing mostly bigger buyins with better players.

I also won @ GBH in July... I've played it twice... 1st & 14th out of 90 runners. I was one of the chip leaders @ WPT Aria 6hrs in, running over the table when I called an all in 70BB deep PF with AA and lost to 77. Same thing here.. I win that hand and I would have cashed for sure or better.
I work for a living so I don't play every day like Buddy, but before Full Tilt went down I was a Black Card Member (Highest VIP Level) and was already 40% of the way to getting a Harley V-Rod with just my points.
This BAP is for the Main Event #12 U$4,400 buy-ins of DirtArse and me. Updated reserve list in OP.
pokerJAH is superstitious that he'll jinx me again whenever he BAPs just me, so this is a more diversified option.

- Please go ahead & send the $55 payment (same email address as before for EMT or Paypal; received Hobbes').

1) Foreign pro (taking advantage of how much farther his dollars go in the Philippines) makes a bet on the board of 85599, and Filipina lady calls. Pro shows 5 for the low full house. Lady tanks. The so-called "pro" makes a huge blunder by saying, "If you have a 9, you win." Lady tanks some more. She reluctantly folds. Her friend who was hovering around her, asks why the *** did she fold with a 9 for the higher full house. She groans & says that she was confused. I was saying to myself, "What the f*ck???" I later talked to the pro who admitted it was very dumb for him to blurt what she wins with, but he was not surprised that the lady still folded as she has done it before. :-O
