I am more than pleased to announce the Lougheed Village Bar & Grill is hosting the Kinsmen Club of Coquitlam on Saturday, May 17th, 2014!
Ladies and gentlemen, the game is No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker and the tournament will start at 2 PM and expected to end around 6 PM!
$50 buy-in: Register today with Kinsmen or anytime at the bar prior to event start as entries are limited to 50 participants.
Prizes are based on gross revenues with first place taking 35% while second place get 10% and third will receive 10%!

All poker fundraising events in BC must go through the branch to ensure the funds actually go to the cause with auditing, protecting the consumer, displaying responsible gaming message, etc.
The way it works... the criminal code sets out the rules and states each province can administer gaming... the BC branch is responsible for casinos, gaming halls and events like these. I'm sure there is a governing body in each province.
