    Thank you, Thank you.

I believe I am going to use my ONE TIME for tomorrow's tournament.

based on the information on running good ive learned on this forum, in order for this to work you must do something stupid.

    good luck.
  • I got the email too, but I have lost the motivation to play online. I never even used the PokerStars bonuses after I transferred my entire balance from Skrill. Maybe one day I'll get an online offer that I cannot refuse.

How can you calculate all these +ev situations and rake savings and not take advantage of this bonus and the actual mil?

    lol, sure we are.....;)
  • sat down at noon, fired up the $55 and shipped it, oh yeah I had 300 chips and was AIPF on the blind at 1k/2k

finished 105/105 and 105 tickets were awarded. sooooooooooooooooo lucky but im in the 8 mil sunday milli!
  • PartyPooper ruined my mojo of playing online. Just like Dustin "leatherass" Schmidt, I was getting depressed despite being a winning VIP grinder.

Any online grinder must read This Is My Brain On Poker (two parts). I'm much happier playing the occasional live games and going out with my family than grinding online. Unlike a lot of players I know who still have the dream of "throwing everything away to become a poker pro as a career", I play poker because it's a FUN hobby for me ...

    while trying to maximize EV/ROI!

    Welcome to the bright side!;)

Now to really try the super bright side you need to participate in some good local unraked games, ie Moose's, Buzzards, the world renown Royal, etc.
  • lost AJ<AQ in BvB in the satellite. registered for the other $10 1000 seats guaranteed for another try.

Then you should know depositing $110~ CDN to get a $55 ticket for free is as +EV as you can get from a bonus standpoint. And we're not telling you to grind, this is ONE tournament for $215 buy-in where you can win $1 Million+ without dealing with all the different issues you have been complaining about from WPT
  • Home games are fun if you don't have a bankroll yet, but
there's no money in forum home games, everyone's solid!

Since I also like to maximize EV/ROI, the live, legal AND SOFT ca$ino game$ are the nut$! After a 9-day break from live poker, I'm ready to be dealt big time excitement again at Ca$ino Rama, Great Blue Heron, Brantford, Playground Poker Club, Woodbine, Mohawk, etc.

Wrongo... oh so much.. You think only people with no bankroll play home games? Depends on your motives as well... Also way more fun than grinding Casino's day in and day out. Not saying not to ever play casino's but it is a drag if you are doing it all the time. Way better ways to make money if that's your purpose...
  • Yeah this field is insane, at a good table and getting decent cards.

Up to 12.1k from starting stack, sunday mil structure is pretty bad later stages so hopefully build a decent stack before the flipping starts

lol ive 3B this one guy 4 times now and he gave action every time and folded flop or turn. hes probably steaming but im not stealin truthfully i had AA/KK/KK and AQo each time...
  • another break, another 13.8k

such a huge field for a $215 lol I will guess the final number of entries around 45,000.
  • Break - $10,742

Its been up and down from the start.
  • The PokerStars, PartyPoker & other online offers I've gotten had decent value, but none of them meet your Dad's criteria of being FUN enough for me at the MOMENT. Just like it may take awhile for pkrfce9 to recover from the bad taste that Fallsview management left in our mouths - after shaving his balls ;) - it may take awhile longer for me to bother firing up PokerStars.

By the way, the problems with WPT Fallsview have nothing to do with the "WPT". Matt Savage (WPT Head TD), the WPT Events and Marketing Manager, and other WPT/PartyPoker staff are great to deal with and keep making suggestions on how to have world-class events for us players. It's the "Fallsview" part that's the big problem!

haha exact same thing happened to me during the $55 satty at 1:30. 1307 won entry and at 1310 i was all in in bb with $400 chips at 1k/2k, I just managed to squeeze in.

    Currrently sitting on 13k.
  • Blinds are 200 / 400 (50)

I have $16,927 in chips - late reg. is open for another 30min.
  • fucking weak. Active player in MP raises 2.5bb, I shove for 18bb with QQ, he calls with 99 and hits his 9 on the turn.
  • And this is how my tourney ends. Of course on the river.
