I wore the hoodie at the Brantford Deep Stack and won first place money (heads-up deal). I wore the same lucky hoodie jacket (different shirt) the next day at Casino Rama, and got my second "Congratulations on your WIN!" photo holding the big novelty cheque. I will have to remember to wear the same lucky hoodie at the Brantford Deep Stack this month that several forumers have a BAP of me.

I have no reason to believe you are making anything up, with that said, I think you might be having a 'Jamie Gold' type of run the past couple months in trny's, or your the greatest player alive. GG!!

FYI I've seen him play on TV, in a tropical setting.
    Nuff said.

so did you play any poker in Montreal? Just wondering...

    Was he there?
and a wanna-be Xuan Liu. Compuease or anybody can ask for forensc evidence when I see them at any of the many casinos that I "allegedly" play poker at.

I'm just an average forumer who was the "emergency replacement of last resort" in the first-ever Royal Cup, but I was inspired by the many good forumers there including SirWatts and Xuan, to learn from forums and elsewhere. I kept taking shots and had a horseshoe implant now and then. Unlike many of the players I have encountered, I have NO delusional dreams of turning pro and relying on poker profits to support my family.
  • Nice TR. Your interactions with women have a bit of a "it puts the lotion on" feel to them, but still nice TR;)
  • Speaking of having your cake and eating it too, below is Playground's cake to celebrate its 3-year anniversary.

    :cool2:

I'll be busy having cake at WPT Fallsview until February, but I look forward to returning to Playground for its upcoming events with WPT and/or PokerStars (better not be *&^%$#@ "Full Tilt Poker").
  • Any poker info? I skimmed the thread so may have missed what tournies and cash you played and results.

    +1

Your great at writing TR's, and you cover just about every detail down to the smallest at times(not a bad thing) but how about some actual poker. Hands, reads, thought process, bluffs, interesting spots, etc etc.

I figured as much. But id love to get in his head on what he's thinking in certain spots. That's about the only thing lacking in you TR's. At least throw in a AA & KK hand where it just plays itself anyway with no thought process.
  • I had fun playing various games at Playground, but nothing as noteworthy since returning to the local tournaments. Believe it or not, I just had a THIRD top two finish in another sold-out Brantford Deep Stack! So three top two finishes in the sold-out tourneys at Brantford & Rama since returning from WPT Montreal, along with winning a couple of WPT Fallsview event entries already! I must have borrowed Eric Seidel's mini Seiborg program.

  • I looked this guy up recently when I found out his hometown is innisfil, which is a very small town, where I also live, about 10 minutes to drive through it completely.

Hes signed with Ivey poker, and is an online beast as well.

I'm surprised I don't know him, or heard of him before his fallsview win.
