Bet sizing here.

How much more should I have made it on the turn? Was the bet on the flop too small as well?

Hell was the fold terrible? So much got there.. but then again this is a 1 dollar thing so yeah.. so he could have just had like king 10 or something... meh fine with fold.

  • Looks good on both streets

To elaborate a bit you could make it bigger on the turn if you wanted to, but I'm happy just extracting a little bit of value on the turn, most of the time the river decision will be easier and it's not THAT wet a board
  • i like to try to extract more. If I take it down so be it.
  • i def raise more on the flop....(besides the fact that i fold pre most of the time here) but we have 750 in the pot before we raise and we raise 200 more....thats 25% of the pot....got make it like 500-700 total on the flop.....on turn if he leads I'm flatting for pot control....middle 2 pair isn't exactly a hand I'm gonna raise/call a jam on turn with and be too happy about it. now if board was like a782. I'm way more happy to have 78 and get it in like that.
  • um, i fold pre flop..lol..but a repop to450 or 500 seems better..imo
  • (besides the fact that i fold pre most of the time here)

Curious about this, why don't you think it's a good hand to play in position here? (its not really autocall for me either but Im curious about your logic

Also, raise more on flop, didn't see he bet quarter pot, make it about 600 and not much larger than that. I find the turn decision interesting after looking at it a bit, on one hand it's a one dollar donkament and we could get value from extremely random shit if we raise, on the other hand after btp brought it up flatting feels like the standard play that you'd almost always go for vs reasonably thinking players. Turn decision could probably be given a whole seperate thread with discussion about who to raise who to flat and why in a 1 dollar BI
  • T8s is a eeeeaaassyyy 3b, no?

    I like 3b > folding > flatting imo
  • In a vacuum 1 dollar tourney this seems super spewy

Edit: Also, I don't think this would be my hand of choice to 3bet either, maybe something that didn't contain a 10
