Playing Heads up

Having a three to one lead in chips, playing heads. What is the best formula for playing? I feel if I don't wait for mid to decent hands, I am afraid I will double up my opponent. How do I improve my head’s up play?

    ...then pray.
  • one issue has to do with you not giving the blind levels and stack sizes in your op....or at least bb and m...
  • a lot of t8's around here Dave... ;)
  • bait him out of his comfort zone, then rape him
  • If I have that big a chip lead, I become the aggressor until he plays back at me. Keep the peddle down.

If he turns out to be a maniac, then wait for a decent starting hand and take him out.
  • Any advice on good HU book or coach? thanks guys!

Collin Moshman HU - standard book,

Just play A LOT, read any book about poker and it will help with your HU play for sure. Learn any poker concept and adapt yourself in HU.>:D
  • SA1251 @ merge is a great coach, has videos on HUSNG and is cheap.. was like $80/hour before...

PM me if u want his info... won't get a better deal around...

His stats are blocked on stars but Merge is open..

Can't be afraid of doubling up your opponent, go follow NASH if his in that range.
