  • your limp/flat line is terry pre

  • 86 suited is my favorite hand right now.

It's not bad play it in certain situationsbetting the turn is fine but once he calls you, you have to think what hands he is calling with and that river @comes check call.?
  • You are not getting the odds to call the turn bet. Flop bet can be called with the proper implied odds, but you aren't drawing to the nuts.

    I fold on the turn.

    what does terry mean ?

If I got to play that one again I would have jumped off at the Turn fo'sure
  • terry = terrible.
english is difficult for some on here.

i don't like limping preflop in an unopened pot so i'd make standard raise.
however, as played i don't mind a flop call. depending on a lot of factors i may raise it up as villain could be cbetting with a lot.
turn adds more outs for you, but really not the greatest hand atm. i'd probably get sucked in and call it because i suck at cash games.
if i'm still in the hand on river i'm just calling. no competent villain that you have beat is calling a river raise.
  • The expert advice of "terry" was awesome. I am more learned now for sure.
but I'm going to laminate my I.D. ...just incase.

I don't think a reasonable raise would have got this guy off at any point and really there was no way for me to know I was beat all to hell until the river... should'a called at most and jumped at the turn at the least. If I can remember that lesson it will have been worth it.

I do like 6-8 (and 8-10 and j-9) suited when Im on the button but I cant bring myself to play them aggressively. I think thats what needs to change. Either stop playing it or grow a pair and make the move early. Still the hand only has value when you get action and you hit .... I got back in there and won my $10 back so ..yay pimpin'

costanza may be incapable of not being a douche. feel free to ignore him.

maybe a raise wouldn't have knocked him off the hand (in this specific hand it definitely wouldn't). it would, however, deal with the second issue of knowing if you were beat.

  • The only thing that is "terry" in that hand is the raise on the river imo. I would of just called the river.
Another good option is just to fold to his raise pre flop.
