$200 Travelocity Code for Vegas! (HOT DEAL!)

Hi Guys,

Just thought I would share, use code NFB2012 on www.travelocity.com to get $200 off 3 nights or greater air+hotel package. I do not know all of the limits on this code but there does not appear to be a minimum spend which makes it potentially very strong.

Hopefully this helps a few of you!

EDIT: Make sure you are on travelocity.com as this code will not work on the .ca site

Also, please share dates and departure city with the rest of us ...so we can all find the best deal possible to vegas!

It's $10 to become a member of that organization.
But looking at the people's posts, doesn't look like it's necessary.
  • That is a great deal...code still works as of now. Now I just need to figure out where I need to go...lol.
  • Thanks.

But looking at flights and the fact you have to drive to Buffalo or Detroit
It is not really that much difference.

Yes the package prices are a good deal. I would snap book it if it was out of Toronto
    and good flight times.:)
  • I dunno, the mock trips I was inputting were out of the London Ont airport. You mean they are just more expensive out of Toronto? Because you can fly out of wherever you want I believe.

    London has a airport?:o:p
  • Yes with big planes and everything ^-^
Amazingly enough in the past few years it's become a decent enough airport, direct international flights or connections at least that whenever I fly anywhere I just book right out of there....no hassle with parking etc .
  • tee heee

I have been pricing a trip and looking for hours today alone, maybe looking at 2nd week of September, found the 1 trip on travelocity with the 200 dollar code for just over 1500 bucks for everything (this is 3 people mind you) and 1 on sunwing for about the same price different hotel.

Of course I go back to travelocity and can't find that package now, lol.

Just something I am thinking about, but lot of problemos to go through and with 2nd week of September not that far off it may be too close of a date.
  • Code no longer valid now fyi.

Well told the folks if they want to go in September I would pay for it and we were just talking Vegas baby!

So 1 problem out of the way, I hope I can still find the deals for about 1500 bucks for all of us when I am ready to book unless I find a site that does a deposit 1st and the rest of the balance before we go kind of thing.

Plane fare will always have to be paid for at time of booking.. If you book hotels separate you will just need a deposit for them.
  • dammit I knew it, the prices went up.:(

Hopefully there is a sale in the next week or the prices go back down again as that's when I will be looking at booking something.
  • Flying out of London, ON is the bomb. Loved it last time I went to Vegas. Everything was hassle free. Parking was around $50 for around a week or so.

    Thanks!

Probably for the other vegas thread but how much for a cab from the airport to the strip? Has anyone used the monorail to go between casino's?

I see it is $28.00 for a 3 day pass for the monorail (don't know if that is up to date mind you).

What hotels should I stay away from? We only need something decent, nothing fancy but I don't want to go to any "rundown" rooms or hotels.

Bally's good? Excaliber? those were 2 that keep coming up on sale, but the main one was monte carlo that I am looking at.

As for my above post, the prices went up on the sites I was looking at, just checked red tag .ca and their is a couple of deals for around the 1500 dollar mark again but for a limited time.

So just have to keep a eye on all sites and shop around I guess.:)
  • I gotta go to bed Philli, but here's the quick answer.

Stay away from Stratosphere, Excaliber, etc. They're old, and dumps. Spend the $ on something newer. You'll save hours checking in and that means $.

As for cab, monorail, etc. I can't remember. It's gonna be the same as spending $ on cab, transport in any big city. I lived in Vancouver for around 17 years and it didn't seem that different. That's the way it goes. Travel costs. It's the least of your worries.

Anyhoo, way past my bed time.

I'd booked using the code before it was posted on this forum but yeah.. I knew the risk when I booked. Good news is they announced they're giving everyone full refunds which is a lot more money back then I expected so yay!
  • If they didn't I would imagine all hell would break loose. I didn't book anything, but to be quite honest I didn't think they would cancel it the way they did, refund or not. Live and learn I guess.
