I just called the poker room and they said they are only holding tournaments on Sundays in the month of June for now. The structure sheet is at the Poker Room, with buy-ins.
All I needed to know was how fast the blinds go up and he said 15min. BINGO.
Fallsview did such a great job publicizing the new tournaments :bs: that the first one on Sunday did not meet the minimum 30 players. There were 23 players so if Fallsview ever manages to promote it properly on their website, email list and inside the casino, it could run regularly.
Does anybody know if the juicy Casino Brantford SNGs have ran yet? If players support these two new series of tournaments, it may actually become possible to be a live tournament grinder in Ontario instead of just online. :cool2:

I think Brantford's tournament structure is far superior with 10-15k starting stacks and 20-30 minute blinds. 15 minute blinds is just bingo played with cards.
They are now running every Sunday ($300) with 5K starting stack and 20 minute blinds. Starting in July, they will be running Friday Turbos ($200) with 5k starting stack and 15 min blinds and Deep Stack Wednesdays ($450) with 10k starting stack and 20 minute blinds. They say that advertising on their website should start soon.
These weekly tournaments are more beatable than the WPT/FPC turbo satellite tournaments. It's too bad I'm planning to cut down on poker, instead of playing juicy live tournaments.

The turbo has a skill level of 2.
They did not mention starting stacks / blind times for the Standard tournament though.

if you go please let me know how 'turbo' it is.
My Calculation say 9.14 patience factor with a skill level of 5
if deep stack is only 5 turbo might be nuts.
