Daniel was on the FAN590 yesterday and one of the callers asked him if Ferguson and Lederer entered the room now what would he say to them, Daniel says "I wouldn't say anything, i would just spit on them." I guess they won't be going out for dinner together anytime soon lol.

Seriously, though...the guy is a joke himself. These pros that happened to rungood at the right time years ago and haven't made any money playing poker since are just attention whoring it up to stay in the spotlight so they can keep their image alive and get sponsorship monies.
Daniel has been pretty bad for the past few years hasn't he? Though has started out decent this year.

I hope you are kidding. Daniel has already won around 2 million this year from tournaments alone.
There are alot more people who come across as jerks out of the "Celebrity players" to me... like Jean Robert, hate that guy.

This. I flip flop on whether or not I am a fan, but the man is averaging a million plus a year on the felts. There are only like 50 Canadians total that have even won a million live over their careers. He is second world wide and when you remove >50k buyins and invitationals, first.
He has game and seems to shine more against tough players.
Whiny little bitch at times, but he seems over that and now accepting the new school for the skills they have.
I actually like his weekly rants. Becoming a fan again.

Next rant he'll have to do is the state of the Full Contact Poker server(s)? Not sure if it was a coincidence but...they tried to workaround the weekly rant issue with Zodiak Rights blocking the video on youtube. They put the rant on the full contact site last night and now it's down.
These days, you have to respect someone who is willing to publically throw a strong opinion out there. The world has become a 'wishy washy politically correct everyone is too much of a pussy to have an opinion' sort of place in the past few years. It's really getting sad. Nobody is allowed to publically dislike someone, nobody is allowed to make fun of anyone, nobody is allowed to 'not love' other races (other than black people......err African Americans....errr dark skinned Canadians....err...for them it's still ok). Yep, the world is doomed to be a very very beige place where nobody is allowed to say anything that doesn't blend with the 'norm' stipulated by the politically correct police

I've never found him to be whiny, unlike some of the Show Ponies that always seem to draw TV time. I love that he is so chatty on camera. Pretty sure he's like that 24/7
cuz it's never seemed relevant? I think I posted about the Grey Cup party before . . . got the tix through work, and it was a blast. totally hammered by the end of the night. Hoping to scam some tickets again THIS year, too.
also, I thought he got his start in the charity casinos that used to dot the GTA many moons ago.
Actually, if you read his writings on his early days, it was more the underground games around TO. He was definitely gone to Vegas by the time Niagara/Fallsview got poker.
