GBH Shift Mgr, new age question?
Lee,
First, thanks for your presence on this board, it's very interesting and refreshing to read your perspective.
Now on refreshing, should I hold my breath that GBH would encircle the poker tables and create a smoke free experience? Although, I don't mind if you let them have a cig hanging out a la Farha.
Perhaps people like GBH because they actually can smoke there and curse the literati.
Thanks.

You have obviously been to our Casino and must have seen that because of the nature of the building changes are very difficult if not impossible. Right now we are in a wait and see position until a final ruling comes down on smoking in First Nation Casinos. We also have plans underway for a new building in a few years and that will have a different design that will be more conducive to an enclosed Poker Room and opening the possibility of a non-smoking room or separate smoking and non-smoking areas.
Every survey we have taken has showed a clear majority of our customers favouring a smoking Casino and that also makes our decision that much more difficult. We are looking at it closely and will continue to monitor our players views and as in most service industries, the customer will dictate. Say hi next time you're in.
Cheers,
Lee
