Yes, this is a race issue
so, played a batch of 10 9/18 man 3.50 SnG turbo's today and had the full doom switch in effect.
first played 4 9 mans and crapped out of one 7th but hit 3rd in the other 3 after going to 3 way play top in chips on all of them. Got it in good each time but could not win a race. If I had pairs, their aces paired on the flop. If I had AK their pair held up. was truly odd and very worthy of a designer tin foil hat.
The race issue (yes, it's now about race.....that is the 52/48 pairs vs. overs kind) kept on. I'll have to check exact numbers but I think I only won 2 or 3 out of about 20 shove races over the course of the day. didn't win a single SnG outright.
and with that off my chest I shall suck it up and get back to it with the knowledge that I didn't have my rockets cracked all day which is a great benefit.
