  • that first bet of yours....for value or a bluff?
  • take it fwiw...
  • take it fwiw...
or you just want to talk about the river?
  • This early. Fold pre. The turn jam shows why. These hands get you in all sorts of trouble early.
  • Now if you really want to play the hand.

Raise more pf (170-190) with 3 limpers
A CBet on the flop should take the pot down (as played $300-350)
  • thanks for the reply hobbes. that was more like the response i was looking for compared to your first reply. my first thought to your first reply was like "what? i fold KJs on the button, with 3 limpers?"

now my question is, so do we fold to the turn shove?

    can i post results?
  • Wait and see if there is more feedback before posting results (or dont even post them)

You played the hand weakly on the flop with the check, so it's a hard call here. I may call a heads up pot, but with 2 left to act (one of which has us covered), it's a fold for me as much as I hate it.

I tend to play these really tight early and would fold pre. Much of that is due to running 6-8 at once.
  • if you played differently pre flop tho i think we would never have to make such a hard/impossible decision...

as for now...i don't think we can really quantify a proper decision....

but i think we should fold because we are too in the dark too early ...
  • thanks guys. but yea this hand bothered me much to say the least, lol. not so much if i had played differently pf or didnt cbet, etc... but a case of me lacking cohones to make a hero call at the micros. haha!

check it out. (sorry for posting result)

i guess it's just the micros and not alot value the stake so much. and i'd be totally fine calling only to find out he has a 9, pocket 10s, 2 pair, AK, KQ... i can live with that.

    but pocket 2s?!?!?!!?!? lololol....
    FML.
  • but a case of me lacking cohones to make a hero call at the micros.

No need to make hero calls this early. These guys will stack off so light it's fairly easy to get your money in ahead.

Once the antes kick in, then hero calls make more sense.
  • however...if i we only raise really good hand preflop then we can just close our eyes and click call everytime ;p
