wsop satellite question

i'm considering going to my first wsop this year but i have some questions about the satellites.

i'm looking to play either the $1000 or $1500 buy-in tournaments.

where are the best places to play satellites for these? should i be playing them online (if yes, what site is best)? should i be playing them at the Rio?

also, does anyone know any info about the satellites? that is, buy-in, blinds, etc.

    I think I remember Full Tilt ran some non-ME satellites, but I don't recall seeing it on Stars though. Probably best to just play a single table satellite while you're there.

    They have lots of 1 and 2 winner SNG's running all the time during WSOP time at the RIO. They also had multitable ones each evening as I recall.
