Fallsview Casino Pokerroom has a date :)

I was donating my monthly contribution to the Fallsview Casino and I decided to ask about hte poker room. It is now confirmed that the room is set to open Jan 4th. They are removing 5 cent slots to the left of the "365 Club". I checked out the area and I would have to say I was a little disappointed at the size. It doesnt look very much bigger if bigger at all than what Casino Rama has. Casino Niagara will follow at the end of January with their room which from what I understand is also in their 5cent area which is larger.

    Yeah , I heard Jan 10th, that was the date floating around Brantford but wasnt going to post until I got a email confirmation back from " Games Director" at casino, still waiting 4 days later.

    From what I hear as well the 4th is confirmed... I will be there on the 4th to check it out. Ill be the tall skinny guy with the poker tie on :)

    A little while back. His name was BullMike. He works the day shift Th-Sun or We-Sa. He said to look him up if we went to the casino. Always nice to meet a fellow PS'er in person.

    At that point he only confirmed Jan but didn't have a date. Said he might end up managing the poker room.

    I Finally got an email back, It is confirmed ( Yeah) Jan 10. Heres the response....

    Thank you for your interest in Niagara Casinos. We are putting Poker Rooms in both our sites beginning on January 10th of next year. Niagara Fallsview will open first. We will be offering a wide variety of limits in either 7 card stud, hold 'em and omaha. Thanks for your patience and we look forward to seeing you at our tables in January.

    STUD!!!! I'll have to start an email campaign pestering them to spread Stud 8. Of the choices between driving to Rama, Brantford, or Niagara I'll choose Niagara any day.

    Thanks, Hork. Chugs had mentioned that in a thread too. I've been too busy to make the trip so far, but I think in the new year I'll have to try the Niagara area B&M's on both sides of the border.

    Word is that they will be offering No Limit Cash Games at Fallsview.
