$70k nightly should I just flat flop with NFD?

Still pretty early but I'm 12th in the tournament.
How would you have played it (folded pre, flat on flop, etc)

  • When someone raises allin on a board like that (flush draw/straight draw) and the raise is that big i'm putting them squarely on a draw. Your stack is deep still and not in any danger, I probably flat call the flop then re-evaluate what I want to do on the turn.
  • Hate your position in this hand. A6s is normally a fold preflop. Only thing you can hope to hit is a flush draw, no straights.

On the flop, I check/call, hoping to see a free/cheap turn card. If I still miss it, check/fold. That flop is just too sloppy to chase.
  • I would call that bet and see what the turn brings, if no h appears I'm done with the hand, hope villain gives a free river but not likely. 1400 vs 14000? I'll let the 1400 go.

I am 100% thinking this as well
  • I am with folding preflop. What if an ace hits without your hearts? Early in teh tourney..stick to playing tight.
  • I think I wouldve either called the 1000 or re raised to 3750 :D
    ???
  • +1 fold pre... as played I'd just call on flop see turn and see how villian bets.

    Fold Pre.

Yep, too early to have a look with a full table anyways. I agree, but was thinking about what hero already committed to in seeing the flop.
  • ok don't call a raise preflop like that unless your prepared to fold to some decent flops. because you did you are looking for a flush or at least pairing both hole cards. on the flop you have a flush draw and straight potential, and maybe the chance of hitting the ace. he is representing a hand and fear of you connecting, so at least say a pair of jacks or even threes or even pockets....any way you look at it your likely a coinflip at best. if he has top pair theres a good chance he'll call and anything better and you know he'll call. you don't want a coinflip so early....so you can call his raise or make a small re raise. I'd call the raise and check the turn....only cause its early....if its a bit later i'll re raise and fold to a large re re raise
