Where in Vegas?

I'm going to Vegas Thursday comming back late Sunday night. I'm a huge Riders fan and if your a CFL fan you'll know they are going to be in the WC finals on Sunday afternoon. I was wondering if anyone would know where I could catch the game in Vegas? Do they show CFL games on a day when the NFL is in full swing?

Thanks in advance
Chad

  • I doubt they even know what CFL is. You have a better chance catching an arena football game than a CFL game on TV. :)

  • You can place a bet on the game but dunno where you'll be able to watch it (maybe one of the bigger sport betting rooms will have it on the tube, but I would doubt it)... I have the same problem as I will be flying back to Vancouver from Vegas Sunday afternoon during the game (heading down on Thursday)... and I had to give my tickets for the game away. Ah well...

    Go Lions!!

  • if you can't find anywhere to watch the game, give me a phone number to call, and i'll give you a game report from BC Place after the Lions kick the Riders' collective asses
  • Possible I suppose, then again the Riders are one of the hottest teams in the league and despite their loss last week have faired pretty well against the Lions as of late. I really like there chances and wouldn't consider them an underdog at all.
  • You could listen to it, on internet radio.

That would require a computer and your hotel should have a lounge depending on where your staying.

Also, if your staying at the Bellagio, you can ask ahead of time for them to have a cbc feed for your room.

    Hope it helps
  • Tecnically, any sportsbook that is taking action on the game will *LIKELY* have a feed of the game (I would suggest this is most, if not all, sportsbooks in LV). Now, given the NFL is on at the same time, you raise a good point - they won't want to take up their big screens with a CFL game for 1 or 2 patrons....HOWEVER, I would suggest going to a sportsbook with rows of tables with individual workstations containing mini tvs. You can change the channels on these yourself, and I think you can access any feed the Casino has access to. So you should be able to watch your green riders on your own little 13-inch while betting on the game and receiving cocktail service at the same time. My recollection of all the sportsbooks is fuzzy (they all blur together) but I think you could do this at the Imperial Palace and I'm certain you could do it at the Bellagio. Phone the sportsbooks day-ahead and ask questions!
  • Thanks for the replies, I'll definatley check the sportbooking places.
