The 3 players who were laughing?

  • Any minute now player C will be on with a "bad beat" thread, or complaining that poker is rigged.
  • Hey,

Just got back from the Casino, and I have a great story...

Just sit down @ the 10-20, and immediatly notice a 'hollywood' character sitting in seat 2... He's got a t-shirt tied on his head, and is in full Army fatigues. He's got sunglasses with little diamonds and spades around the outside. Classic!!

Anyhoo, I sit down @ the table, play tight 4 a while, getting a feel for everyone. I notice this guy's completly Hollywood... loves to check raise with anything, always bluffing, raising and re-raising bottom pair. He's getting lucky some, and hes got a nice juicy stack in front of him, probibly 15 bills. After about 20 mins, I get wired black 10's in middle position..

Everyone folds to me, I raise it up. button calls, Hollywood is in the big blind. He re-raises, and I cap, trying to get heads up against him. The BB calls the cap, and we go into flop 3 handed.

The flop is 7d 9c 3d, and Hollywod checks to me. I bet, BB calls, and he Hollywood immediatly raises. I re-raise, and BB folds. Hollywood calls.

Turn is 10d, giving me top set, but putting 3 diamonds on the board. I don't put him on a flush, as he could literally have just about anything. He once again checks to me, I bet, and he raises! What a surprise. I make it 3 bets, and he just calls.

The river is a 3d, putting 4 diamonds on the board. He checks to me on the river, and I check behind him. I almost knew he had a diamond, but I reluctlently turned up my set of 10's. He looks over, smiles at me, and says. No good, Man... I've got the flush... and turns over pocket 2's, with the 2 of diamonds.

The good news is, I stayed for another 7 hours, and watched him down about 6 Labbat Blues, and lose his entire stack (partly to myself) before the night was over.

You should of stopped the game and called the pit over. If there are two 3 of Diamonds in the deck, the game should of not continued.

Also, his flush does not beat your full house.

I didn't even noticed that "small error" when reading the text!

I think I'll stick to online poker!

    Nice one!!! :D
  • LMAO @ Myself :)

I need to stop my late night posting! ... I should wait till the next morning

The river was simply a rag diamond... I honestly don't remember which one, but it definintly was not another 3...
