Safest/Best method of depositting funds

What works best for us canucks up here, in terms of depositing or cashing out cash?
My poker room accepts NetTeller and the like, as well as credit cards, however it seems to be pushing NetTeller(with bonuses).
I would think Visa would give more protection in case of problems with the site? I'd prefer to make my deposit that way.
Anybody have any good/bad experiences?

I like Neteller (note the spelling) myself and have used it for a few years with no problems. Neteller can be linked to a Canadian chequing account for deposits and withdrawls (in addition to other methods of funding).

I used to use PayPal with no problems until they stopped processing gaming transactions. I used to use a credit card with no problems until my credit card company stopped processing gaming transactions.

Probably not. If you think so, I'd suggest checking with your credit card company directly to confirm this.

Makes sense to me to use the method you prefer.

Some credit cards do not process gaming transactions. Some credit cards do process gaming transactions but may charge additional fees/surcharges specifically for gaming transactions. Check with your credit card complany directly if you have any concerns.

Because your credit card has built-in customer protection.

Just wait for neteller to screw up a transaction and start dealing with your bank to correct it. If you are going to link any form an online wallet to a chequing account, I'd seriously recommend opening a 2nd account that you used only for neteller..

Thanks for the information.I have never had a problem and found Neteller to be very obliging.Perhaps I have been lucky so I appreciate the admonishment.

For initial funding, credit card is the best method. Its free, other than the exchange rate differential. Setup a neteller account afterwards when its time to move money back, or from casino to casino. Neteller charges an 8.9% fee for depositing to your neteller from bank, unless you do EFT, which takes about 4-5 business days.

I prefer using a deposit method called Use My Bank. You deposit the same way you would withdraw money from a bank machine. Using your debit card. I like it because your only spending what you have. The only site I know that has it is www.truepoker.com. I think this is the best site anyways. If you choose to use it the best bonous is the tell a friend bonus.
