Comments

  • I challenge anyone to find a better blind structure and starting stack anywhere outside of vegas for these satellite tourneys.....

30 Minute levels........(if that wasnt enough)
    20K chip stack........

    Blinds start at 50-100, 100-200, 200-400, 300-600

    400-800, 500-1000 100ante ( and thats 3 hours in)

    600-1200 100ante, 800-1600 100 ante, 1000-2000 200 ante.....and so one.

    NO ONE DOES IT BETTER.

  • Are you running those subs at 4pm everyday?

  • Please PM (or post) the rake. Is it a $600 + $50 tournament?

What is the prize structure if there is money left after the $10,300 seat(s) have been awarded? For example, if there are 20 (or 30) players and the winner gets $10,300, how much does the runner-up get?

What is the starting stack and blind schedule for the $140 sub-satellites? My friends and I may be interested in participating in the sub-satellites, or possibly organize a home game satellite for the $650 seat.

  • Blondefish, I have organized a sub satellite for this tourney. See this http://www.pokerforum.ca/showthread.php?p=121327#post121327
  • Thanks to the three people who replied. AcidJoe, your 10,000-chip sub-satellite with 30-minute blinds looks great, so I plan to play in it.

The $140 sub-satellites start with $1500 in chips and 9 minute blinds starting at 25-25.

  • I agree if the members at the table want to chop you can't stop them. I think Prophet was giving some input into what happened at the last one he attended. While I haven't attended a RR WPT event, at another club which was giving away WSOP ME seats, chops were common with no one taking a seat.
  • This thread seems to have died, are these events going on?
  • Joe.. the Riverroom is closed until further notice. They are working on a new location in light of recent developments (which is a good idea I think). They should be up and running in a couple of weeks.
