legal question

I know tha technically running a tournament and charging a rake to cover costs is illegal. I was wondering though if anyone out ther has heard of any juristiction that actually took the time to bust, charge and prosecute a guy running a tourney of say 30 people or so charging $5-10 a head?

Just curious.

    I know of games busted in SK, BC, AB, and ON.

    Just last month the OPP busted a tournament before it even happened in Ontario. They got wind of it, contacted the organizers and told them if they ran it they would be raided.
