    In a vacuum,

    Edited after doing math better..
Each pot is 5250 once B&A posted, and your stack after being in BB with ante is (24.35-2.13) 24.22 or 48,440 (M=9.22) You're doing pretty well.. yellow zone. If you'd have floated a call, you'd be down another 2k to 46,440 and an M of 8.8. I think a push here gets called from a best case coin flip (and depending again on how donkey these guys are, AJo is in there). I think a call and re-evaluate would have been better. The flop makes continuing unlikely, the turn ends your hand to betting.

  • Thanks Mark!! I was thinking the same thing after the fact.
  • I can't clam to be an expert at tournaments but I respectfully disagree with Mark.

Shove all day in a tournament.
You can't call for set value out of position in the BB and an M < 10
You can't expect to flat and check fold if you don't hit 3 cards 9 or less.
    Your M is < 10.
They want to keep the pot small by betting 2BB. Make it huge. Neuter their position advantage postflop.
    Shove.

  • Heads up I call the 1 BB and see flop. 3 way - it's a good time to squeeze.

    This is fair....

Though, again, we'd have reads / more info outside of this scenario.... blah blah same issue with all hand histories.
