The rake is $10 even for 1/2 :redface: - the highest ever in an Ontario casino - which is why many players like me stopped playing there. Rama also does not separate the rake from the BBJ take, which players hated. Great Blue Heron Casino is much less busy than when I used to play there, and will re-open its poker room sometime this Fall, hopefully with tournaments.

They spread 1/2 and 2/5. 10 players per table. Not sure 100% sure about rake.
Vibe was different because you could hear music, the sound of slots, craps tables cheering and general traffic.
The only thing I didnt like is that people would stand close to the tables to watch hands. Let's hope them watching will encourage them to play.
Blackjack dealer mentioned the casino has been happy with the move as more poker players are spending money on table games while waiting or stuck.
