well, if the math says anything, Team Canada averages $80,000 in prize money per $18,000 invested (3 events @ $1500 x 4 people, right?).
Therefore, they should come out of the main event with roughly $240,000 to show for it.
Alternately, Devin and Bob, should play in 3 more events each and then they can maintain their .250 average. Hopefully, D can find another final table ...
On the topic of Devin defending his blinds against Kings (that was his second to last hand, I believe) - I managed to take him out of the AA invitational with the same situation.
Note: the man should learn to drop his blinds when the other guy has kings.

Ralph didn't play in Limit event, so team only invested 16,500.
You'd figure that by now, the man would address his legions already!
I figure he assumes that if so many would stay up until 2:00a.m. to sweat him on a board...we'll be here in 48 hrs when the party ends and he wakes up...I"m looking forward to his WSOP reports!!
D
p.s. however i am still shocked that the Park St. Poker Pit event last night didn't garner this much coverage...
Devin is computerless. I have having breakfastg with him in 45 minutes and then he is flying home. I am sure you will hear from him before the day is through.
Bob seems to have been left out of the congratulatory praises being heaped on Devin, so here I am to set everything right.
Congrats to both Bob and Devin, an awesome feat to finish in 28th and 6th place respectively! You both should be extremely proud and happy with such a great showing at the WSOP!
Reading the updates last night I couldn't imagine what you both must have been going through. Such poise under such tremendous pressure. I just hope the rest of your events turn out as well as this one.
That is the most gratuitous man flirt in the history of men and flirting. It kinda creeped me out. I never thought I would hear one man say that about another man.
Sadly, I was in Montreal this past weekend drinking far too many beers at the Internation Beer Fest. It was great to come out and see such fantasic news on the site!!
(Does this mean I get to sell your Elvis glasses on eBay and make a TON1 of cash?!?!)

All I know is that Devin's still a lousy padookie player!

A WSOP final table is a great accomplishment.... well done!
I hope you consider staying in Vegas for a while longer to play some more events.

Great job guys!
I'll be honest Dave,

Very True.
Bob outlasted 1075 other people (or some crazy number) to finish in the $$$. A great win for the Great white North in anyone's books!
I just heard the news... You so rock.
Good luck catching up on all these posts.
