Brantford, Rama & GBH in September 2016

After taking a bit from the Montreal poker economy, PocketsTwos and I want to donate back to the Toronto poker economy so we're playing in the next three casino tournaments at Brantford, Rama and GBH. Who's playing in tomorrow's $330 so-called "Deep Stack" (not really compared to Playground's tournaments) at Brantford?

I have been giving away poker swag when requested, but have more after the World Cup of Cards, so in case anybody at the casinos wants a hat, etc., let me know. chaimr1924 has dibs on the furry poker hoodie when he joins us at GBH next Wednesday.

    I have a $100 US for you that has been burning a hole in my wallet and has yet to be spent on lap dances....I said yet...

    edit: I may bring an extra $20 US extra to purchase said goofy hat at end of final table...

    I would never sell a hat that cheap......especially if it is a "final table" hat..... Min price $39.99 US ... hehehehe

    And i am busted....

    yada yada yada ...... Down to a very short stack. Get moved to a table with Blondfish to my direct left and pocket twos 2 seats to my right.

    I get pocket kings and from early position i just call 400. There are 5 callers at $400 and pockettwos re-raises to 2400. I had maybe 7500 left and shove it in and get pockettwos to call after i called shenanigans on his raise.


    well........ I shenaniganed myselfmright out of the tourney when he hit a 9 on the river to give him 3 nines......

    Game over.

    I got killed in the first 3 levelsand was down to 1500 chips at one point. I hit 2 bad bottom sets into top sets that crushed my stack and i made a couple bad calls with top pair where i should have been able to find a fold.

    Yeah...there were a lot of shenanigans going on and I got cooed into calling....nice one! Fortunately Gretzky never loses in Brantturd and I hit the nine on the river. I must admit I was the one that got shenaniganed!! Well I took the luck of the Irish right to the final table and ended up officially first - chopped 1st and 2nd place monies. I am, and continue to be a shenanigan luck box...

    A friend and I tried to buy our Rama tickets today, but it had already been sold out! :o Who's the &^%$#@! :fish: who kept telling everybody what a great-value tournament Rama has and now can't even buy a ticket early for himself!? :-[
    I bought a ticket for GBH Wednesday before that one sells out too.

    Anybody know what's going on at Brantford this Sunday?

    Online calendar for October won't load and poker room has no info on what tournament is running or even if there is one.

    It did say $230 a few weeks ago because I was planning on going and COMP was also thinking about coming but now it looks like it is a $ 180 deepstack. ..
