Windows 8 Lenovo systems are now available..

If anyone is looking for systems now, I can get them and if necessary have them drop shipped to you.. If there is something you are looking for and have an idea of the price point you are interested in let me know..

Many are also available with 3yr warranties and accidental damage protection...

    troll...
  • I'm planning to buy a mainly-poker desktop system; no gaming, maybe porn. ;)

    1) Should I even bother with Windows 8 if I won't be using the touch feature for poker? Is Windows 7 good enough for online poker for the next 3-5 years? Are there any compelling touch apps for a desktop in the near future?

    2) Do any Lenovo desktops have an option to have an SSD pre-installed?

    3) Do Lenovo desktops have Dual Port/DVI outputs & everything else required for dual monitors, including a Dell 30"?

    4) How do Lenovo desktops compare to Dell and NCIX?

i'm assuming that includes laptops? gf is thinking of getting a new one soon.
  • might be interested in a desktop; what features can I get for the $500 price point? don't need a monitor, just the computer.
  • The Lenovo desktop that may fit my poker needs has a price of $1,354 without monitor. I'll try to see if I can get a lower price from Dell or NCIX.

  • Seems like there is a hold up in the distributor channel. I had expected to see the channel with lots of choices today... Be aware if you are trying to source a ready built Win8 machine in a rush, none are in stock afaik, and even if they take your order I don't think anyone can promise and deliver on a delivery date.. This may change shortly but that's the situation at the moment.

Not that I am aware of, but you won't be able to even source Win7 shortly.

    2) Do any Lenovo desktops have an option to have an SSD pre-installed?
    Yes

    3) Do Lenovo desktops have Dual Port/DVI outputs & everything else required for dual monitors, including a Dell 30"?Yes

I would say a step above, especially in warranties.
