not completely true. A lot of people check to trap on the turn....kind of get you to bet one of your draws then they shove on you so you hate your life for not taking free card. happens a lot.
but maybe we could say here that he doesn't do it all that often.
Why not, how can you see this? Shouldn't he be check calling his medium hands? Why is he betting with kt? what does he expect to get called by? I don't think kjo is in btp perceived range often for what Scotty says
My assumption was this was a read based flat...I figure at this level kjo would be 3bet or fold, but I also find it funny it led to villain value betting his ten kick into our jack kicker

I know kjo is ahead of his open range and Im glad to play anyone in the online community in position with a wide variety of hands. I would fold here from SB fwiw

What would a this SNE have for an opening range preflop?
What range of hands do you call raises with preflop from the button, vs early/mid/late position openers?
Depends completely on my perception of the opponent. Here Im confident against this player in position, Ive played him hu a few times and know his game fairly well. His range being wide mean pairs, suited connectors some off suit like 910. The obi A10+ kq kj qj k10 etc. Also some a2,a3,a4,a5 hands. I don't need to hit to win this hand there are just some flops I look for, I can't list them because thats not how my brain works....i just see it and know. Thats why Im not good at teaching this game lol. I see, and i just know what to do lol

I just think he can have top pairs and such in his range, his bet isn't super indicative of being "extremely polarize". If he overbet river I would think his range is extremely polarized.
As for the flat pre with KJo it depends on his pre-flop stats, if I just saw the person was a SNE I would generally think flatting is a mistake since SNE = lots of hands = lots of tables = playing less hands. BTP says this SNE is a HU SNG player, so it's quite possible his ranges are wider than optimal, thus KJo is ahead of his range. I'd say he needs to be raising at least KTo and a fair few suited kings for flatting to be good. I also think in this spot 3-betting isn't a good option. My default would be to fold and not consider 3-betting, but I would flat some people here for sure, specifically the guys who open like K2s or J9o in this spot (there are some who will).
