I don't see anything wrong with the last hand, not much you can do. AA obviously doesn't know how to play because that should have been heads up all in pre.
Before the trip report and hands, I went out in 28th. Sorry for not cashing in either event.
Day started out great, first, they increased the levels to 40 minutes and added a couple extra levels. This was truly DEEP STACKED.
I managed to chip up to $25k by the first break, mostly due to players trying to trap and me catching up by the river. No one at my table seemed to play bad hands and rarely showed a bluff. They always had it at showdown.
The first big pot I won I had KQs in mid position and raised to $200 (blinds are 25/50) - two callers - flop comes K-7-3 rainbow and I lead out for $400 - both called. Not sure how much I like my hand now, so I decide to control the pot size and check the turned 9 and both check behind. River is a Q and I lead out for $1000 and both call me ?!?
Guy next to me shows A-A and other player has A-K and I take down a huge pot. But I give back later.
I am in the BB with J-9s, blinds are 100/200 at this point and the SB and I call a raise of $600 from the hi-jack. Flop is Ts-7c-2h - raiser continues for $300, I get ambitious and call, thinking an 8 would be well disguised. Turn is the 4s - now I have the straight draw and a flush draw. So I call his $600 turn bet. River is money, its the 7s - I now have hit my backdoor flush.
I check thinking that he has bet the entire way and is never putting me on a flush. He bets $2200 and a min raise him to $4400 and he tanks and just calls me with A-3s for a bigger flush !! He didn't repop me 'cause he thought I might have made a boat.
Oops, now I am back down to around the starting stack.
Since that hand, the button has been relentlessly raising my BB, almost every orbit. He is a good player but very aggressive. I finally had enough when I looked down at A-Qos in the BB and he raised me to $1200 (blinds are 200/400 now) - I re-raise him to $3000, trying to look really strong and he goes all in (he has me well covered) and I decide to call and he flips over J-J.
I flop an Ace and double up to over $30k !!
I end up getting as high as $45k at one point then a brain fart hits and I lose half my stack to the button. After that, I just waited for a hand I could double up with.
With 15 BBs left, it gets folded to me in the SB and a new BB has sat down next to me, just before the next break. I look down at A-Jos and go all in - I figure BB just folds and I pick up the blinds and antes, but nooooo, he calls and flips over Q-Q. And I am out in 28th.

P.S - ignore my recent PM. I remembered the answer.
