  • Played the nightly $60, 150 players, got HU.

lost a hand that left me outchipped 989k to 2.5k with the blinds at 20k/40k.

Ran it up to 400k, won about 8 blind flips in a row.

    Still lost.

GTA was there. The quality of play was quite good.

    nh sir....

you still be here for the Friday tourney? (140'ish players, $115 b/i)

I don't usually play the $60 tourneys here.....not good at bingo.

LOL no I fly out tonight.

I take it you caught the sarcasm detector regarding the quality of play?

I saw some of the most obscene / ridiculous things Ive ever seen in my life last night which I guess happens in a bingoment when the chipleader stack with 12 left is 10bb. Worse than anything Ive ever witnessed in Vegas in terms of late game play which included:

    1) Folding BB to a SB shove leaving hero with 1/2 a BB.
    2) BB with like 30bigs folding to a SB 2big shove.
    3) I open 2x and lady calls 3/4 of her stack, then folds when I shove flop.
  • I also got to implement my "OMG its the bubble" strategy.

    This involves stating multiple times:

    "Are we on the bubble?"
"So theres 16 left and 15 pay?"
    "Close to getting paid!"
"Has anyone busted on the other table?"

All while opening every pot. Pretty sure I got in 5-6 opens in a row with people giving it up. Superb.

This can obv only be executed in these types of tournaments with super bad livenits.
  • So, I should watch for this on Saturday afternoon?
