Brag -- who doesn't love LHE?

It's been a long while since I played any HU LHE, but these HU SNGs are sweet. Small 24h sample for sure, but it seems the variance is much less than in NL HU because you aren't risking your tourny on flips very often.

  • But how much did you lose?
  • I can't stand LHE, it's like watching paint dry, but nice garph!
  • People who like money play LHE

  • @Gta poker.

Nice graph, keep up the good work. How is the fixed limit cash games on full tilt? Tight or soft? Are there lots of full ring and short handed games on there?

You've obviously never played HUHU, where you're a nit (and almost certainly losing) if you're playing less than 40 percent of your hands. You can be a winner playing 80% of your hands!! More action than any NL game.
    GTA: Very nice sir!
  • Good Job!!

    Big Mike:

I don't play 80% of my hands.. How did you learn to win playing 80%? I play most of my hands on the button, but I play pretty much tighter out of position.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply I play 80%. But I've watched some training vids on huhu lhe where the instructor (Entity or Danzasmack from Deucescracked, I can't remember which) said that it's possible to be a winning player even playing that many hands. He was referring to a cash game, so I don't know how that would translate to tourneys (tighter would be better in a tourney, generally).
Personally I too play much tighter OOP, but I think i still play a lot of hands.

I think you're probably correct that something radical like 80% is needed to win at hu limit.

I've heard the rake at hu limit is so brutal you need to be in a very good situation win.

I don't play HU limit because I'm afraid of the rake monster.
  • I've heard that while a very good player can probably not do much better than 2bb/100 playing full ring LHE; with good game selection (play fish - not other pros) you can make like 4+bb/100. A good rake structure and rakeback would no doubt be essential.
I don't play huhu cash often enough to have any reliable firsthand stats though.
  • I probably play 80%+ of hands in the hu sngs at times, but it really depends on the opponents' styles
