why no love for 5-card draw?

not one event features 5-card draw in the WSOP??

the only website that i've even seen 5-card draw offered on is stars and that is it.

why all the hate for 5-card draw? it's a fast paced game which requires great reads, lots of bluffing, and a lot of skill. i've recently emailed full tilt asking them if they are ever considering adding 5-card draw to their site. obviously i have gotten no response.

for now i'll have to stick to stars and play only on their site, but this game deserves some credit and respect, and should be offered on more sites imho.

  • right here:)

big fan of 5 card draw, played as high as 2/4 last year and was 2-1 chip leader in a mtt, have not played much since but am trying to get back to it soon.
  • Beanie on this site is a huge draw poker fan...

    I've played the occasional 2-7 single/triple draw...
  • i've done pretty well at 5-card draw tournaments on stars. haven't played a ton (since there are only three a day), but i have over 100% ROI in them.
  • Just found 2-7 single through a free roll recently and it is quite fun. Tables usually have a 1-2 really good players and the rest of us are fish.
  • yeah i find that there are really not a lot of people who play well in the draw games. games are great +EV.
  • just play 2-7 it's the new 5 card draw

    what poker sites have 2-7?
  • P*s for sure. didn't see it on tilt.
  • I used to play mirco stakes 5CD in high school. It wasn't the highest quality poker, but we did fun.

I tried the $1 Sngs on P*. Brutal poker. Every player draws +3 to upgrade their pair.

Off topic, I still find the 7 Card Stud to be fun when I'm bored with Hold'em.
  • I am a huge fan of draw poker. 5-card used to be my favourite but 27td is my new favourite. I am surprised 5-card is dead at WSOP, but rebuys were dead this year too. Maybe they'll resurface next year like the rebuys.
