My Worst beat payed well
$60 dollar Freezout with Bad Beat Jackpot.
Holding AA in the BB and the button makes a raise, a decent stack moves all in. I reshove. Button folds.
He rolls 88, I show my bullets. First card over is an 8, my heart drops.
Next is a ten, followed by an Ace and I am doing the happy dance again!
Turn is a Ten! Boooo Yah!
The river falls slow mo. An 8. WTF!
Till I realized that I just hit the Bad Beat and nearly jumped the dealer while calling for the floor.
1st in the tourney was $900, I got $1347 for the beat. I had chips but really wasn't interested anymore.
The funny part is a friend had hit it a month before or it would have been a 6k hand.
If there was one casino tape I would like to see my reactions on, this would be it. Talk about a roller coaster with a happy ending.
