Beat-This is why one should be properly rolled.....

Because suck outs on the bubble like this you just really can't afford to lose. I trapped my opponent so bad he had only 2 outs on the river to hit.

I never min raise unless its about the only thing i can think of to keep an opponent in a hand. Trust me, even though I lost this is EXACTLY what I wanted him to call me with, actually I expected the King in his hand, but the 6 doesn't really surprise me here all that much either. I think if I raise much more it gives him enough reason to fold considering my tight bubble play (had been pretty well card dead). These aces worked out perfect in timing because I had previously shoved when folded to me in the SB, then I raised something trashy on the button and took down the blinds, usually a third raise (in a row) is getting called really light here (especially by the big stack) so I want him in this hand badly, he obliged :) bad result for me though.

  • Unlucky... you got him to do exactly what u wanted and it didn't hold.
  • Here's Another fun one....I think I made about a million dollars in Sklanky's today..... this one is the typical 6 outer with 2 cards to come.

As you can see I moved down in stakes as I can tell its gonna be "one of those days", that and my roll is garbage right now for 3 dollar buy ins. As it turns out it was probably a pretty good decision. I think I'm always going broke in this spot because I see so many all in bluffs with flush draws on boards like this. If he shows up here with AhKh well then...well played sir. Of course then I wouldn't be bitching about it here. I can see him just flatting with AA or KK here but I think I'd consider that a bit of a cooler. I guess you could argue I'm overvaluing the overpair a bit much here, but considering its a 1 dollar buy in tourney I think this is almost always a +ev call.
