The grind.
This may sound like a dumb question but, as I understand it, the goal of (some? most?) of us here at pokerforum.ca is to start small, "grind" a bankroll (aka playing good hands on bazillions of tables and making money little by little) untill we have sufficient bankroll to play higher stakes games, and higher buy in tournaments.
My question is....at what point does it stop being a grind, and you start playing some actual poker?? When does bluffing begin to be a regular part of the game? What bankroll is sufficient??

it's not a grind if you enjoy playing and you can bluff at any limit...if you dont enjoy playing then you should work rather than grinding a $20 bankroll, no?
If you're working on building up your roll, it's ALWAYS a grind.
As for 'actual' poker that depends. There's always dead money at every level. As you rise in limitsm they just become harder to catch.
You'd be surprised to note that a lot of the pros are actually really tight and do not bluff that much. TV has hyped up the fact that bluffing works more than it actually does.
