Limit
Beat:
I hate limit. I lost $100 at Brantford yesterday. I was ticked it was limit because I had pocket rockets once, pocket Ks three times. I lost all four of those hands. I kept getting pockets all night and they never came through. Nothing else really came through either. It's just so frustrating to get good hands that you can't do anything with at the limit table.
I did get some frustrations out on an older gentleman who asked to see one of my mucked hands. It was a nothing hand where I made 2 single bet calls against him heads up. I had second pair and he showed the straight after I called on the river so I said nice hand and threw my cards in. He asked the dealer to see them so I made him feel like a bit of a dick for doing so. He played a few more hands then got a meal box... then when he came back he switched tables.
Brag:
I did try Carribean Stud afterwards though. It was my first time playing it. I had a good idea how to play but the dealer was nice enough to explain the jist of it again before we started. So I put in my $5 ante and bonus buck and he deals out the cards. I look at my hand and pay my $10 bet.
He then turns up 2 pair and appologises to everyone as he takes thier money... and gets to me saying it's a bad hand to start with and I just said "how do you know... you haven't seen my hand?" and smile.
He turns over my full house 4s full of 10s and I get paid $170. Not a bad introduction to the game.

A buddy's father-in-law has hit two royals playing C-stud. First paid over $200k, second one just under that. Why he still plays it is beyond me . . .
