Comments

  • wow... AT with a 76k stack wtf...

then risk 1/4 of a stack with 44.

no wonder why this tournament is easy if you can avoid the landmines.... (if...)
  • Is the second hand not standard for a big stack to think he's flipping with the short stack and it's for < 1/3 his chips?
  • I call hours 2-4 in that tournament the "surviving ace rag/baby pair worshipers" time.

First hand guy I guess was making a play to steal (his overall tourney results are reasonable), but it just seems like a strange spot to do that in vs an under the gun raiser who has been relatively tight and has his healthy stack covered. I suspect he was smart enough to realize he made a boneheaded play after.

Second hand guy has cashed in 6 of 118 tournaments he has played and has a ROI of -81% even with his $100 from that tourney, so I think for him it was more "me got a pair/pair good,me call any amount with pair" syndrome I see often enough.
  • That sucks
