Need to vent... KK busted in an unusual way..

Beat: So playing in a team tourney today, blinds are 500/1000 I'm in late position with KK.

4 limpers I raise all-in (for about 7500 total), and get 1 caller.

We turn up, I have KK.. Caller has KQ offsuit...

Let's pause for a second and see what PokerStove says about this hand:

and your complaining? you want players to call your all-in with this domination. You play this game for situations like this to come up. Its these type of hands that you always remember, unfortunately. When you raise 10x the blinds with AA and someone calls you with 23off to hit a board of 233. I say bring it on!

Oh I'm not complaining about the situation.. I'm saddened and a little weepy about the beat. I had an excellent read on my table and was almost to final table and that addition to my stack would have help tremendously.

I don't even mind them catching 4 flushes by the river to take down my KK's, but QQ on the flop??? UGH.. just a bad beat..

Isn't that what this forum is for?

Please don't comment with things like this in the Brags Beats and Variance forum.

No disrespect Jah, but this is not the place for us to remind Zunni, or anyone else for the millionth time that he wants these types of calls. I've read his posts, he's a smart guy. He knows he wants these calls "long term".

What he wants "right now" is for forumers to say "shit man, that really sucks. Poker's a bitch sometimes".

So follow-up details to this story and more proof live poker is rigged...

This is a team tourney and my team is actually pretty suited to these types of games (We tend to be more aggressive against the loose passive play that's prevalent here, people limp AA and AK 'nuff said). I'll spare everyone the 'bios' of the team members but here's our bust-out hands.

1) Set of flopped 7's beat by a rivered set of Kings

2) AK beat by KK (not a bad beat but notice the theme?)

3) Pair of JJ's beat by a turned K

4) KK beat by KQ

I was the last one left and honestly looked at my KK and thought for a half-second "Well this is it, it's too perfect to have the last person on our team taken out by K's". So yeah we must have pissed off the Poker Goddess somehow
