Brag - Finished 82nd Event 27
What a great experience, for all of you who love this game as much as I do you need to play in The Series at least once.
Day started out with 224 players and I had 37k which was average. Blinds were 800/1600 ante 200. In the first hour I caught some hands and was able to be real agressive and got my stack to 60k. In the second hour this hand came about it's raised to 6k but I didn't think the person was that strong. I re-raised to 17k with 99. All I've shown was KK x2 and JJ in an hour and a half. The individual had 21k after his 6k reaise and decided AQ was good enough, He won the race.
The cards went pretty dry, got as low as 22k and then I was able to steal the blinds /antes a couple of times. The final hand was AQ in early position with blinds at 2000/4000/500 I decided to raise all in with 33k, I got called by the BB(previous hand he just won 150k pot) with 88. He flopped a set, rivered Quads, oh well it was a great run!!!
82nd paid 5.5k.
