Second in chips, can't tell how far in the game you are, looks pretty early though given the blinds. Absolutely HATE your call here. Would NOT go to war this early with such a weak holding myself, even to defend blinds.

Very nice flop. Lead out with a pot sized bet and try to take out the drawing players. Be happy taking a small pot.

Mistake number 2. I don't like the check here. If you're opponents are drawing, they have a chance at a free card, and you're not that strong...almost any card to come could be dangerous.

Hmmmmmmm, mighty big c/r, looks like you're trying to steal the pot, so your opponent may think he's way ahead. If I'm your opponent, I'm pretty much calling with any decent pair or AQo or better.

DAMN, that board turned nasty on you quickly! Flush and straights both hit, and two much better cards than you weak 4. You were way ahead on the flop, but with your huge bet on the flop, it pretty much looked like a steal. I'm shocked he called really, but without knowing more about the buyin or your opponent, not really surprising he did.

Yep, calling got you into trouble, unless you were going to try to represent hitting ANY flop. I think if you had lead out on the flop though, you could have taken down a small pot. Your over raise screamed weakness, and you lured your opponent in huge, but the board turned ugly in so many ways after he called. VERY loose call on his part, but wouldn't have happened if you had mucked preflop like you admitted you should have.

You're opponent most likely doesn't even realize how lucky he got with his call. Most likely shaking his head at your game play. Record him as a favourite, and next time, give him credit for play pre flop decently, but at the same time his post flop play is ridiculous.

This is an awful revisionist analysis, I'm too tired to bother...you should have stopped after your preflop comments

Don't stop there...tell me what's wrong with it? Just practising abit for my own reasons more than anything, but I would be interested to know why you think its such an awful analysis.
  • thanks, your points are good, however the bottom line is that this guy is a total idiot for calling my re-raise regardless for all his chips....not to mention he had a 6% chance of winning after the flop!
  • Saw your call preflop and got confused when you didn't go runner runner.

It was a very bad call, but he also screwed himself by committing so many of his chips to the pot. His call was just as bad as your's pre-flop though...2 bad calls in this hand IMO
