i got elvis'd
nl 5/5. lag UTG raises to 20. gets 3 callers.
i re-raise to 100 in MP with AA. folded back around and original caller (elvis, fairly new to the table but i'm wondering already)calls my raise. he has about 150 back. what hand exactly calls an EP raise then a re-raise for 40% of his stack? (answer below)
flop comes 955 with 2 suits. he checks, i push, he calls, flips a buck to the dealer and eventually shows 99. if he doesn't see a 9 there, is he putting any more money in? or is he really calling for set value here? why does he feel a need to slowplay this? am i ever folding to his less than pot sized push? i wonder if it is even worthwhile trying to understand his play. better to just reap the benefits.
believe it or not, he went through several buy-ins that night... (answer: pretty much any two cards i think)
