BRAG- Close to losing all my chan money!

So i got my CPF bucks converted and i bought into a $5.50 turbo and lost, so i sat at a 0.15/0.25 6 handed table on Chan with my last $4.50
2 limpers I had AJ in SB pushed it all-in got a call from KJ and doubled up.
then i got AA playing against MANIAC who was playing every pot.
I GOT LUCKY HERE HEHE

LOL lucky? you pushed 4.50 with AJ but only raised to $1 with Aces? You rivered the Maniac lol.

Totally agree besides if he was a maniac, he deserved it. Sure he's put the beats to a lot of players. Still don't like that raise.

The all-in I was actually BB, and it was 2 limpers, I was telling myself if they have me beat so be it but most likely they don't or they would have raised. Thats why I pushed it in early when I sat so that I might get called with a weak hand at these limits.

PS. IT WORKED. that hand still wasn't the point of this thread.
The only reason I pushed it in there was so I could either double up my remaining cash or get off of online poker and get some school work done.

the reason I only raised it to $1 is because i dont adjust my raises with hands, nobody had entered the pot therefore i just bet 4x the BB with any hand i'm raising with. do you know what I'm sayin?
do you think aces should be raised to a different amount for some reason? doesnt that make you quite easy to play against?

Yes, thats why i raised it to $1. Thats 4 x $0.25

I'm not berating your play Davis. What I'm saying is, you got called for 4.50 by KJ not long before that. So maybe in this situation, I'd have raised more than 4xbb. you did only get one caller which is what you want. It worked out but judging by the table you could have ended up getting more than one caller. And yes, I do mix up my play when I have a table calling 4.50 with KJ. It could be quite profitable. So, lets try this again: Well done! IMO i would have raised more than 4xbb but that's me. Nothing wrong with your play. Better?

cool i totally get you, cuz it definately would have been nice to get the most possible in preflop. the reason i adjusted my play back to normal however was just because it was all of my remaining money and i wanted to play serious. i had still only been sitting at the table for about 5 minutes when this happened..

than again all the more reason to make another crazy raise and hope to be put on a weak hand again!
