BRAG- greatest CN table ever

So Thursday afternoon I headed out to CN. I called ahead but still got listed and had about a 45 minute wait. I only had $100 cash for buy in on me (had bank card of course.) Stupid me, went upstairs to play some 3-card while i waited. Long story Short, I have $40 in chips and obviously will need a trip to the ATM when my pager goes off. I'm shown to my seat and i post on dead puck laughing cuz i just put the min buy in on the table. Here's my start:

hole cards: :2d :2s

2 limpers for $2, MP raise to $10, one caller to me. I decide to steal. I have only $38 left in front of me and still want to make my ATM trip and have a smoke before I really got into playing. MP calls, CO calls. both players show AK and the board is bricks. My 2's hold up. Triple up LOL. no ATM in my future today. by the 3rd hand, I'm up to $375 dollars in chips and i go have my smoke.

I left there with 690$ on 1 $40 buy in 4 hours of play. Great day!

Never played that. Sounds interesting but I don't think i'd play it. Takes position plays away. Late position is best spot to play in but not if your actions are limited
  • That's awesome! Any other hands of interest that occurred? I loved playing at CN (only played once) and didn't do too well, left either even or up $20-$30...I played at the $100 max tables, so pretty much if I lost a decent-sized pot I was in, I was short-stacked and basically shoved all in to get back to my original stack, but sometimes I tripled up which was awesome...still I can't wait to go back there and try the $200 max tables...

LOL one hand made me laugh. I was on the button and the action folds to me. I have AK and i turn to the blinds and say "you 2 are going to chop right?" The guy in the BB says "no, I want you to play. Come on double me up." He has about $50 in front of him. I have about $500. I say fine and raise to $15, SB folds, BB pushes AI, I call. He turns over AQo. Stacked the BB and he went home. The whole table was laughing at him.
