Beat - Chan's Omaha game is rigged.

My busty hand from tonights CPF league tourney. I busted out of the last one with the best hand on the turn as well.

Pretty weak call preflop, but 300 more into 800 and maybe flop a set, get away cheap if I don't.

The flop call seems fine to me, but when the board paired the turn, is he still getting good odds to try and call me there and hit a JKQ, or the case ten? I guess he likely is isn't he.

I suppose what burns me is the fact that out of all those outs, he hit the ten.

Comments

  • I'd say he was priced in and considering top stack seemed like the right play to me. Tough beat but there are worse in that game.

Also it put me in the money so I quite liked it. :)
  • yeah, I've come to realize that as well. I actually posted the same hand in the online strategy section just to get peoples feedback on my thinking and bet sizes on each street.

I think I played the hand fine(possibly excepting my call pre flop). I like this game though, and have so little experience at it. So I was hoping for some feedback.
  • Thats a tough beat... the only thing that I think may have saved you is a re-raise pre-flop or a fold (its an okay hand, but not the greatest pre-flop).
