Does it hurt more or less to a good buddy?
A poker buddy and I are rather competetive. Last night I got him to commit with 1 card to come with his pocket 10s to my pocket Qs. He had no other draws... just 2 outs. And there be the 10 on the river.
Now I know I'd rather he have my chips then some donkey but personally I think it hurts more when it's a buddy. To get the best of him like that only to be slapped in the face by a 2 outter.
A few hands later my night ended when AQ beat my AK. I had my A game out too... but some nights it just doesn't matter.

Sometimes it hurts more, sometimes less.
Honestly, I think it hurts more when you get outplayed by a buddy (or hubby) than when they suck out on you.
Now, when your husband slow-rolls you with a straight to your trips.... that hurts the most. Making him pay for your rebuy takes the sting out a little
Now that's funny!!
In poker, there are no relatives, no friends, no lovers, no gender...I'd take out homeless orphans...I'd take out my brother...my best friend...my mother...hell, even my dog, but she bites back once in awhile.
Brisk tail wagging is always a giveaway! Not to mention the nose between the legs trick

BTW it was a total accident when I slow rolled Eleanor it was a total accident. I didn't realize I had a straight until she said "If any one has a 5 then they have a straight" and then after that I realized I had a 5.
Lol.
