You are correct -- this response was more about his/her thought process rather than their holding (hence my advice on the other post which was a copy of Tyson's original post). It's really bizarre how some (most) players think through hands and it's really tough for better players to think as they do. But this is important to exploit them.
In all honesty the reason I posted this hand was to make sure that I didn't go, "Oh look I won this pot, not only am I good looking but I am a god damn poker god too!"
